Head up US 10 - about a mile - and get some great donuts and coffee (if you like that sort of thing).

BEACHES

This gorgeous little beach is a few miles north on M-22.  You can park right there- no walking!!!

For a local have the beach almost to yourself day-We drive around the block (look towards the lake for the mansions) the this path - there is a little parking lot on the street.

BEST BEACH WITH THE LITTLE KIDDIES-

Drive through the condos and park at the FIFTH AVENUE BEACH -

 Bathrooms/Playground Snackbar/Lifeguards

Walk through the church parking lot and you'll find MAN MADE LAKE - lots of people swim here on hot days- We prefer Lake Michigan - but check it out- Walk over the dunes and you're at the big lake.

Parking at The Crow's Nest

Pull your car in on the side where this fancy blue van is.  There is room for two cars.
You can also park on the street right next to the driveway.

Local Grocery Store - Oleson's

Oleson's is located just north of the river on US 10. -

Working the TV/DVD player

This remote is all there is to it.
Under the green power button is a TV/Video selector - The DVD comes in on Video 1.

To control TV  - select TV ( row of 3 buttons about half way down).
To Control DVD player - select DVD/VCR

Please leave the remote where the next guest can find it.

About the house....

The House

The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The Roosevelt Suite- on the main floor has a queen sized bed.

 The Jefferson Suite upstairs has a double bed.

 Main floor bathroom.

 Kitchen.

 Upstairs bathroom.

Flat screen TV /MAC G-5 -WIFI

There is a nice selection of DVD's - or head back south on US 10 to FAMILY VIDEO-

the cheapest video rentals in the universe.

Welcome To The Crow's Nest

The Crow's Nest  - a fine, fun house just a few minutes from the glorious beaches of Lake Michigan in Manistee, Michigan.   We are trying some summer rentals this year, so come on up and have a blast!
